How to get here
The Old Apothecary House is situated in St Georges de Reintembault, a village on the D14 between St James and Louvigne du Desert, on the border of Brittany and Normandy. Visit the Map page for an interactive map.
It is situated approximately half way between the medieval market towns of Avranches and Fougeres and is about 5 kilometres from junction 32 on the A84 Caen to Rennes Motorway.
If coming to The Old Apothecary House from the A84 leave at Junction 32 and follow the signs to the centre of St. James. At the traffic lights turn right and take the second left (75/100 yards) signposted St. Hilaire/Louvigne/American Cemetery.
After 200 yards turn right (opposite Normandie Hotel) go past the car park and church on your left and continue straight down the hill, round the hairpin bend and after some 800 yards turn right signposted St. Georges de Reintembault/Louvigne/American Cemetery. Go past the cemetery and follow the road for another 5 kilometres into the centre of St. Georges.
The Old Apothecary House is on the left just behind the war memorial.
